Terms of Use — elbow

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using elbow ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. About the App

elbow is a home cleaning and organisation app for households, published by Aga Drapinska-Tonge on the Apple App Store.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to download or use elbow. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Cleaning & appliance guidance

The App provides general cleaning and appliance-care guidance for convenience only, on an "as is" basis. Cleaning and maintenance results depend on many factors we cannot control, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome. You are responsible for using the guidance safely. In particular, you agree to:

• test any method on a small, hidden area first;
• follow the manufacturer's instructions for your appliances, surfaces, and any products you use — those instructions always take precedence over the App;
• never mix cleaning products (for example, bleach with ammonia, vinegar, or other acids), as this can create dangerous fumes;
• ensure good ventilation, use suitable protective equipment, and keep cleaning products and equipment away from children and pets;
• seek professional help if you are unsure.

You use any guidance in the App at your own discretion and risk.

5. Intellectual property

All content, design, and text in the App are © 2026 Aga Drapinska-Tonge, all rights reserved. The elbow name and logo are our trademarks. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the App's content, or use our name or branding, without our written permission.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

elbow offers optional auto-renewable monthly and yearly subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase, which unlock Pro features. All purchases are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel in your device's App Store account settings. Prices may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies — we are not able to issue refunds directly, so please contact Apple to request one.

7. iCloud sync and data

Your data is stored in your own device storage and iCloud account. While we design the App to keep your data safe, we cannot guarantee against loss caused by device failure, iCloud issues, or deletion, and we recommend keeping iCloud backup enabled.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, and not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or any commercial purpose without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law: the App and its content are provided "as is"; and we are not liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, for indirect or consequential loss, for property damage or personal injury arising from how you choose to apply cleaning or appliance guidance, or for loss of data. If you are a consumer, we are responsible only for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

10. Not affiliated with Apple

elbow is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for the App or any claims relating to it.

11. Your consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect, and nothing here limits those rights. If you live outside England and Wales, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer-protection rules of your home country.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at elbow-app.com/terms/. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in your own local courts where applicable law allows.
